Ingredients for making crunchy soy crumbs:

 3 cups of manioc flour

 2 cups of ground textured soy

 1 small onion

 3 cloves of garlic

 4 tablespoons of olive oil

 black pepper to taste

 salt to taste

How to make crunchy soy crumbs:

Peel and chop the onion and garlic. In a deep pan or skillet, add the oil, onion and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes over medium heat, until it begins to brown.

Tip: Keep an eye on the stew so it doesn't burn, it would leave a bitter taste in the crumbs.

Then add the soy, mix and cook until golden. Then add the manioc flour, mix and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until this vegan crumb is loose.

Tip: You don't need to hydrate the soy, just add it to the pot or pan.

Get the flavor right with salt and pepper to taste and your wonderful crunchy soy protein crumb is ready! Serve right away and bon appetite.
